Overview

Mercury has expanded the Milan lineup with the addition of a new hybrid model for 2010. Easily one of the most fuel-efficient midsize sedans, the all-new 2010 Milan Hybrid delivers a remarkable 41 city/36 highway miles per gallon. A new gasoline-electric variation of Mercury's midsize sedan, the Milan Hybrid has earned reputation for its excellent fuel economy and range, engaging handling for a hybrid, spacious interior, comfortable ride, and a lot of user-friendly electronic features. It is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in one trim only.

Power and performance

The Milan Hybrid is equipped with a standard 2.5-liter, I4, 156-horsepower, hybrid engine mated to a variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It is paired with an electric motor that helps bumps power output up to 191 hp and 166 lb-ft of torque.

Body and styling

The 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid offers abundant space and the latest in technology, such as the available SYNC communications and entertainment system and the available new voice-activated Navigation System with integrated SIRIUS Travel Link. An innovative dual-LCD SmartGauge cluster with EcoGuide features a four-level display providing information about the improve fuel efficiency. The standard equipment includes automatic headlights, fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, power front seats (eight-way driver, six-way passenger), cruise control, keyless entry and keypad code exterior access, eco-friendly cloth upholstery, an LCD gauge cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, the Sync electronics interface system (includes Bluetooth and an iPod interface), and a six-speaker stereo with a six-CD/MP3 changer, auxiliary audio jack and satellite radio. The voice-activated navigation system is based on the hard drive and includes DVD audio and video capability, 10GB of digital music storage and Sirius Travel Link (real-time traffic, weather and other information). The Driver's Vision package adds a blind-spot warning system, a rearview camera and cross-traffic alert. Leather upholstery and heated front seats are also available. The Moon & Tune package adds a 12-speaker surround-sound system and a sunroof.

Safety Features

Antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags and rear parking sensors are standard on the 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid. A blind-spot warning system and rearview camera are available.
