Ford Fusion Has Best Fuel Economy Of Its Class

The new 2013 Ford Fusion has been introduced the U.S. and proves to be a perfect specimen of the automaker's latest technology. The Environmental Protection agency recently gave the Fusion Hybrid a certified rating of 47 MPG in the city and 47 MPG on the highway. This beats out top-selling Camry Hybrid by 8 MPG on the highway. “The new Fusion is part of our plan to offer vehicles with the very best quality, fuel efficiency, safety, smart design and value,” Alan Mulally, Ford president and CEO, told media. “We are absolutely committed to class-leading fuel efficiency as a reason to buy Ford vehicles, with customers able to choose the fuel-efficient powertrain that best fits their lifestyle.”

There are plenty of engine options when it comes to the Fusion, including two EcoBoosts, a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. The Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid has a projected 100 MPG equivalent rating. For more information about the Fusion or to take a look at any Ford vehicle, contact Harris Ford.
