New Ford Fusion Energi Delivers 620-Mile Range

The new Ford Fusion Energi is Ford’s most fuel-efficient sedan, allowing the driver to travel 620 miles before having to refuel or recharge. The 2013 Ford Fusion Energi is capable of traveling 21 miles in its fuel-electric mode, which is almost triple Toyota’s Prius plug-in and double Honda’s Accord plug-in. Ford continues to prove its superior prowess in fuel-efficiency.

New Ford in Lynnwood Fusion Energi models are one of two Ford plug-in hybrid models, the other being the Ford C-MAX Energi, released in November of last year. This makes five vehicles with electric power for Ford, who has the best selection in most arenas, including hybrid and plug-in hybrids.

The 2013 Ford Fusion Energi has an official Environmental Protection Agency rating of 100 MPGe, which averages an estimated $6,850 savings in fuel costs over a regular gas-fueled vehicle, just in the first five years. Ford has one of the largest and most versatile inventories in the world.
